How many Bucco fans remember this song being played at Three Rivers Stadium in 1990? It was played at the start of Pirate home games and included a Pirate highlights video. This song was the only official song the Pirates have ever had. It was sung by Ernie Pontiere formerly of the Letterman. After a couple of years, all copyrights for this song was turned over to its creators, Falotico Productions.

This song was written and arranged by two brothers I grew up with - Frank and Ray Falotico. We were neighbors and friends growing up together in the 1960s in Ellport, Pa. During my trip back to Pittsburgh, for the Pirate's final weekend at Three Rivers Stadium, I visited Frank. He told me about the history of the song and gave me a sealed cassette of it.
